Event Types We Cater

Our experience spans intimate dinners and large-scale receptions, across a range of venues throughout Metro Vancouver.

Weddings

We work with couples from the initial tasting session through to service on the day. Our wedding catering includes rehearsal dinner options, cocktail hour service, full reception catering, and late-night snack stations. We are experienced with both indoor venues and outdoor sites — marquee tents, rooftop terraces, winery estates — and adjust our kitchen setup accordingly.

Corporate Events

Whether it is a working luncheon for fifteen or a product launch reception for three hundred, we design the catering to fit the event's purpose. Presentation is clean and efficient for daytime formats; richer and more leisurely for evening functions. We have worked with teams from the tech, finance, and creative sectors across downtown Vancouver and Burnaby.

Private Gatherings

Milestone birthdays, anniversary dinners, baby showers, reunion lunches — events where the host wants the food to feel genuinely personal. We offer in-home catering for Vancouver residences as well as private room bookings at partner venues. Guest counts typically range from eight to eighty for this format.

How We Manage Event Logistics

Once a date and format are confirmed, we assign a single point of contact from our team who remains responsible for your event from the planning stage through to the end of service. That person attends the venue walkthrough, coordinates with your event planner or venue manager, and leads the on-site team on the day. Equipment needs — serving tables, chafing equipment, linens, glassware — are inventoried in advance so nothing is improvised. Our kitchen prep begins the morning of the event; all food is transported in temperature-controlled units and finished or assembled on site. Staff depart after breakdown and a final check of the venue space.

“We booked Vividgforge for a client appreciation event at a Yaletown loft space — sixty guests, cocktail format, two-hour service window. The team arrived ninety minutes early, had everything plated and stationed before a single guest walked through the door, and the food was genuinely remarkable. Our clients still mention the smoked salmon blini.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions we often hear before a booking is confirmed.

How far in advance should we book?

For weddings, we recommend reaching out at least four to six months before your date, as peak summer and autumn weekends fill quickly. Corporate and private events can often be arranged with four to six weeks' lead time, though earlier is always preferable for larger guest counts.

Do you provide serving staff?

Yes. Serving staff — waitpersons, bartenders, and a catering coordinator — are included in our standard proposals for events of thirty guests or more. For smaller events we discuss staffing requirements individually and adjust accordingly.

Can you work with our chosen venue?

In most cases, yes. We have catered at a wide range of venues across Metro Vancouver, including spaces that do not have a commercial kitchen on site. We bring our own equipment and set up a prep area on location. We do ask to conduct a brief walkthrough of any new venue before the event date.

What is your minimum guest count?

Our minimum for full-service catering is typically twenty guests. For smaller gatherings, we offer a scaled arrangement where food is prepared off site and delivered with minimal on-site staffing. Contact us to discuss what works for your situation.
